Today Alex got really upset when he heard me mention to a friend that he would be getting a twin bed soon. We couldn't figure out why, until he told us that Dora the Explorer has twin brothers and sisters and they sleep in a crib. So he thought we were going to put him in a crib again! We're keeping an eye out for a bedframe (we already have the mattress), and I'm really hoping to find a captain's bed for him.
Bella is really into gorillas right now. She signs them all the time, and we have to read Goodnight Gorilla every night now. In case you haven't read that book yet, there are only 4 or 5 words in the whole book, so I get to make the story up as I go along. We had our first major 2 year old battle today. We put her in time-out and she wouldn't stay. We fought with her for 45 minutes before she would finally sit where we put her. If this is what the next few years are going to be like with her, I'm in for a lot of trouble!
