One of the first days we were there, we headed to Call of the Wild, of course! It's a museum full of stuffed animals. (No, not cuddly stuffed animals, but animals that died and then were stuffed.) The owners are good friends of ours, and always let the kids go through for free. And boy, did they love it! Most of the exhibits have a way of listening to the sound that animal makes, and the kids had to try every one!
Then we went next door to the mini golf course and go-cart track. While we were waiting for the go-carts to be inspected, we goofed around on the golf course. Bella thought it was fun to play it off the hazards. And note the pink ball!
I took Alex on the double go-cart ride. He thought it was fun, but his arm got tired from waving so much at Busia and Bella outside the track. Bella was too little to go on it this time.
In fact, Alex and Bella thought the go-carts were so cool that they pretended they were riding one at my parent's house.
Bella even has a bungee cord around her as a seatbelt "so we can be safe"! (We've been watching a lot of Dora lately.)
