Baby carrier

When I had Kid A and Kid B, I wasn't aware of all the types of baby carriers out there.  I mean, we had the solid frame backpack-style carrier that James would wear whenever we went hiking, and with B we went out and bought a Baby Bjorn carrier, but I was never aware of any other options.  With kid C I was lucky enough to be pregnant at the same time as my friend Gretchen, who is Uber-Crafty!  She blogged about making her own Moby wrap and Asian Mai Tai carrier.  Let me tell you, the ones she sewed are GORGEOUS!  I, however, do not have the sewing skills that she does, so I am eternally grateful that an old friend offered me her Mai Tai.

(Please ignore the sleepshirt and hair not done...it was close to bedtime.)  I'm still not sure if I'm wearing this inside-out or not, but it doesn't really matter.  It's SO comfy!  Kid C loves it too...it's one of the only places he likes to sleep.  I love it because I can get Alex ready and off to school while getting breakfast ready, and without having to hold Coby.  Because honestly, he doesn't sleep when you lay him down.  In a swing, maybe.  In the carseat in the car, usually.  But the only way to guarantee sleep is in the Mai Tai or in someone's arms.
