I'm Blessed!

My friend, Gretchen over at He Sows, She Sews, has started a new thing on Mondays called "I'm Blessed".  The idea is that we often overlook what we have been blessed with, and so this is a good way to remind ourselves.  So here is what I am thinking about today.

I am blessed:

• to be able to see and hear my beautiful - and noisy - children. And also that they are healthy, and can see and hear me as well.  (Note that I used the word "hear", not "listen"!)
• to have a working vehicle that can transport the 5 of us, plus a large dog, on a 12 hour trip to visit family.
• with a loving extended family full of amazing people that surprise me each time I see them with their humor, kindness, and insightfulness.
• with parents that took all 3 children - even the one that doesn't sleep through the night - so that my husband and I could have a night alone.
