Yesterday we went to a halloween party at Burger King with some friends from the cities. It was a little rambunctious, as there were 19 kids there. These are all the moms that I went out to dinner with last week, so it was nice to see how all their kids have grown. Alex went as a baseball player, and Bella was a princess. On a whim, I made Bella's dress on Tues/Wed. After I figured out how to work my sewing machine, it went really well. I won't win any contests, but it stayed together for the party! Thanks so much to granny and mom for all of the advice that they gave me with the sewing. I know it's hard to explain something over the phone when you're two states away, but they were both a huge help to me.
On another note, we went to get Bella's pictures taken today. She is the smiliest child in the world until you try to take a picture of her. We got one that was pretty good, but I would have liked one with her usual big smile instead.
