Not my child! Monday is hosted by McMama over at www.mycharmingkids.net, although I first saw it on my friend Gretchen's blog. In it, we admit to our parenting "mishaps" in a slightly sarcastic fashion. So here goes:
~My son did NOT throw a tantrum when he found out there were no such thing as boy dress-up high heel shoes. He also didn't throw the tantrum while wearing one of his sister's dress-up flapper style dresses. That would just be silly.
~My daughter did NOT grab the wasp catcher that I put out on the deck railing and drink from it. That's gross! (Even though it was freshly made sugar water with no bugs in it.)
~My darling daughter would NOT stand with the back door open for no reason and let the cat out. She knows better than that! And if said cat did escape, she would not panic and shut the door again, leaving said cat with no way to get back in. Nope, not her!
~My son would NOT pull on the dog's legs so much that the dog would growl at him. He treats the dog with respect all the time! And if I did see that happening, I would not tell him that if he gets bit, I'm not going to feel sorry for him. Only a mean mother would do that! :)

HeeHee, of course your children would never do anything like that! ;) Although maybe if there had been a bug in that water, Bella might have learned a lesson. ;) Learned it the hard, yucky way, but learned anyways. :D
