Over the fields and through the snow...

...but we weren't heading to Grandma's house.  Instead, we went to visit some of our good friends that we haven't seen in years - literally.  They were our "pre-kid" friends, and Alex was only a baby when we last saw them.  She was a co-worker of mine, and when I got laid off, we just never got together.  Until last Wednesday.  It was such a treat to see her and her husband again!  Her son, Nate, is 1 month older than Bella, and she's due again around the beginning of April. 

The kids had a blast playing with each other.  Nate LOVES Cars, so they had every car from the movie, sometimes in multiples!  (I think at one time Bella had a family of 8 Maters!)
