Late Vacation Pictures

Last month the whole group of us went on a week-long vacation out to Wyoming to visit my parents.  It was an interesting trip, to say the least.  I was the only one who had been further west than Minnesota before, so it was fun to see their reactions.  (Although I got a little tired of Alex reading EVERY Wall Drug sign we passed). 

On the way out we stayed in Mitchell, SD, home of the infamous Corn Palace.  Can we say christmas card photo?

While out in WY, my mom took the kids fishing, and Alex caught his very first fish!  He was pretty proud of it!  Of course, we practiced catch and release.

On the way home, we stopped at Dinosaur Park and the kids had fun climbing on these giant dino statues.

And of course we had to detour to see Mountain Rushmore, as Alex called it.

Of course, we did a lot more on this trip.  And took a lot more photos too!  But maybe I'll add more later.
