Garage Sale Loot!

This past weekend the garage sales started up around here.  Our city-wide sales are coming up soon, so I tried not to buy too much, but that never works out well. 

My favorite finds were as follows:

No, I didn't get the boy at a garage sale...although I would've bought him if I found him at one.  Nope, instead we got what's on his feet.  They were $1, and in really good shape!  They're also a little big on him, so they'll last a little while.  (Unlike the shoes we got him, that fit just right now, which means in 2 weeks they'll be too small)

These books were .25 each, and they're perfect for what B is learning right now.  I wish they would have had the "e" book as well, but oh well!  The stories are short and sweet, and I'm sure she'll be reading them on her own shortly!

In case you don't know, this is Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Starfighter. Yeah, if it makes you feel any better, I didn't know either.  I had to look it up online when I got home to see what it was.  The only reason I knew it was Star Wars is because of the little R2D2 guy on the wing. 

And then there's the favorite thing that we bought:

This is a Clone Trooper Commander Helmet with Voice Changer.  It has a working light on one side of the helmet, and sound effects buttons on the other side.  It also has a way to make your voice change, so that it sounds like Darth Vader.  We bought it for under $5, which, according to what we can find online, is quite a steal for this helmet!  I love getting a good deal. :)

Total spent this week: $14 (and almost a third of it was the helmet)
