I very rarely buy myself something that I want. I buy things I need, like new socks. I buy things for the house, like a new toaster. I buy lots of things for the kids, like workbooks and toys. But not usually because I want something just for me.
Then I saw it. A friend on facebook had gotten a mother's necklace of her four boys. It was gorgeous! I quickly e-mailed Heather (the woman who makes them) before my cheap side kicked in and stopped me. Heather was wonderful to work with...she understood what I wanted and how I wanted it, and even made a few suggestions (like the heart). Not only that, but she was quick, too! I ordered it on Saturday, and got it by Thursday! Granted, it only shipped from Wisconsin, but still!
Isn't it gorgeous?!? I love how both boys are the same color, and my only girl is a different color. And the heart is just darling! It came with a chain, but it doesn't fit my fat neck very well, so I'm going to purchase a new one. I have to purchase it by Easter, because I want to be able to show it off! :)
