Back in the world of technology

Sorry to all that follow this blog! For those who didn't know, our old computer had a meltdown a few months ago. Something about a motherboard being broken, and for some reason, I was told a computer needs it to run. We were a little frustrated, since the computer was only 18 months old, but decided this was a good time to upgrade to a laptop. (The fact that it was going to cost $300 to fix the motherboard had a lot to do with that decision.) Because it was the holiday season, we were able to follow the sales fliers and wait it out for a good deal on a laptop, and finally got one from Best Buy. It's a Toshiba, and while it's technically a laptop, it's so big that we prefer to call it a desktop with identity issues. But it works! I haven't figured out the memory card slot yet for the photos, so those will be coming shortly. I'm also still learning Windows 7, so please be patient with me. Hopefully later today I can figure out christmas pictures.
