Another Monday, another round of Gretchen's I'm Blessed. Click on the photo to check out what ways others have been blessed.
As Thanksgiving approaches I am again reminded of all the ways in which I am blessed:
I have a husband who cooks. And cooks very well, too. Don't get me wrong, I can cook. Just not like he can. I'm a recipe girl - I follow them to a letter. He's a throw-a-little-of-this-and-some-of-that-in type of cook, and it turns out fabuous! So for Thanksgiving, he's doing the dinner, I'm providing the dessert. (He bought a 25 lb turkey for dinner...anyone else want to join us?!?)
Speaking of Thanksgiving dinner, we're having it on Friday because we're blessed that my parents will be visiting. They'll be pulling in from Wyoming late Thursday night. We can't wait to see them, and I'll even be able to go shopping on Black Friday if I want this year! Haven't done that in a long time.
As the weather turns cooler, I'm blessed that we can afford heat. And the electricity and the water, too. We may be barely surviving at times, but we are able to pay the basics and then some, so life is good.
What are all of you thankful for this week?
