Not Me! Monday

This past week I did NOT tell my children to stop singing their bible songs. Over an hour of "Yes, Jesus Loves Me" and "Oh, How I Love Jesus" at the top of their lungs fills me with joy, not gives me a headache! :)

When the phone company guy came over today to install some new wires, I did NOT make popcorn as a snack for the kids and set them up at the window to watch him. After all, I AM aware that a phone company worker is not live entertainment, and that some people would be embarrassed by my kids watching their every move and commenting on it.

Alex was NOT playing pretend today and say "Nana's going to be here in 1 minute...Quick! Clean the house!" After all, I'm sure that if he did say that, he was not mimicing his mother. My house is always clean, so there's NEVER any rushing around before guests get here.

I did NOT forget to drop off the bread for the church service on Friday, and since the office is closed on Saturday, I did NOT have to get up early Sunday morning and run it up to the church before the 8 am service. And even if I did, I would NOT have done it while wearing pajama pants with puppy dog prints on them!

I did NOT fib to my kids and tell them that their library videos were due back today, when really they're due back in 2 weeks. Of course I love watching the same videos OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER, and knowing how much my children love those videos, I would not deprive them of watching them for another few weeks.

There you have it! Some of my many flaws in the last week. How did your week go?
