Yesterday James dug out Alex's old tricycle for Bella. She's just a hair to short to reach the pedals, so she sits and rocks it back and forth. When we went to a nearby parking lot to ride bikes, Bella wanted a helmet and pads just like Alex. I know that she will need them, but we didn't have any at the moment, so we improvised. She's wearing Alex's elbow pads on her knees, and a hard hat from Alex's construction set on her head.
She started out at least trying to ride the bike, but after a few minutes of getting nowhere, she decided the bike would move faster if she pulled it...
Alex is quite the speed demon on his bike. He's also a little bit of a daredevil. He likes to ride his bike to the top of the small hill in the parking lot, and then rides it down as fast as he can. His favorite part, though, was the mud puddles. He made sure that he rode through each puddle several times.
