My baby turned 2!

It's hard to believe that Bella is 2 already! Her birthday was Wednesday, so on her birthday we drove to a zoo in the city. It's a small zoo, but it's better to take the kids to, since the animals are usually within sight. We told Bella and Alex that they had to hold someone's hand at the zoo, so this is what they decided:

After the zoo, we went on a carousel that is about 100 years old. I got to ride double with Bella. Bella must have been feeling tired after all that walking around, because after the merry-go-round ride, she looked like she was about to fall asleep on the pony.
Then we got home and celebrated with some cake.

In other news, James and I are busy cleaning and staining the deck, so it may be a while between blogs. The cleaner absolutely stinks, but at least it's helping take the mildew off. We don't know how old the deck is, but it's never been stained/sealed/treated/whatever you want to call it. It's quite a chore for us, but we keep plugging away at it! Hopefully next time it needs staining, we won't have to do this much work.
