National Night Out

The sheriff hosted this year's NNO for our town at a nearby park. There were free hot dogs, pop, and ice cream. Alex's favorite part was learning from a real firefighter how to spray the water, and then being at the opposite end and getting soaked by the water someone else was spraying.


Bella preferred to stay dry. Both kids also enjoyed looking at all of the rescue vehicles. Their favorite was the little police speedboat. A MediVac helicopter was supposed to land in the field, but we left after it was over 45 minutes late. (James and I heard it go overhead about 15 minutes after we left.)
