In the backyard the kids have 3 sprinklers, a kiddie pool, and numerous to play in the water with. What's their favorite? Mom with a hose and a bucket of ice cubes. I would spray down the plastic slides on the play sets, and they would go zipping down them. I swear, Bella shot a good 5 feet off of one of the slides, it was so slick! She just got up laughing and went down again. After all that sliding, the kids were thirsty, so we stopped for a drink from the hose.
And then, of course, when it's hot outside, what better for a snack than a popsicle?
This is the first night that it has been bearable in the house without the a/c on. I think I'll get some baking done. I've been wanting to try these cinnamon pecan bars for a while, but my oven really heats up the kitchen. I'll let everyone know how they turned out next post!
