Besides my kids and books, another one of my huge passions is gardening. I love to see the variety of flowers that come up in my gardens. The past few days have brought up my lilies and my lupines, although the heat seems to have wilted my fushias that are hanging on the porch. These yellow asiatic lilies are in my front little flower bed. The lupines, below, are in the beds right in front of my house. They were the first flowers I ever purchased from a mail-order catalog, and they turned out great. I ordered 6, and only 5 grew, so I called the company, and they're sending me a replacement plant.
